Global sex tech conference
Securing Sexuality Conference
Date: October 19 to 20, 2023
Location: Detroit
The Securing Sexuality Conference is set to host an engaging cross-disciplinary event that explores the intersection of technology and intimacy.
The keynote speakers will be neuroscientist Nicole Prause, Ph.D., and Eva Galperin, the Director of Cybersecurity at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The speaker list includes tech and security experts as well as leading mental health professionals.
The sextech conference offers dual learning tracks. Participants can opt for workshops in either the Technology & Intimacy track or the Mental Health & Sexuality track. Its Experiential Learning Village will allow attendees to interact with experts from various fields through hands-on demonstrations and discussions.
With eight hours of structured learning each day, attendees can also look forward to networking opportunities, game show-style competitions, and the lively Hoodie-Cardie Party on Thursday night.
SX Tech EU

For its 5th year, sex tech conference SX Tech EU is scheduled for October 25, 2023, at Ahoy Berlin in Berlin, Germany.
SX Tech EU features presentations and workshops by experts in the field, as well as exhibits by companies that produce sex-related technology products. The event is intended to provide a platform for researchers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals to explore the latest developments in sex technology and to network and collaborate. SX Tech EU is open to trade attendees and the media.
Tickets for the sex tech conference start at €89 with the SX Regular pass. More perks and higher prices come with buying the SX Startup, SX VIP, and SX Investor pass options.
Two networking events sandwich the one-day sex tech conference in Berlin.
Tickets are available for the SX CEO VIP Dinner 2023 on October 24 and the SX Spa Mixer 2023 on October 26, which is for industry professionals only.

XBIZ sex tech conferences
XBIZ sex tech conferences are not open to the general public. They are intended for adult industry professionals and newcomers interested in networking, learning about developments and challenges in the sector, and business opportunities.
XBIZ Conference – Los Angeles
Date: Jan 15 – 18 2024
Location: Los Angeles, California, United States
XBIZ is an adult entertainment industry trade publication well-known for its annual events.
On January 15 to 18, 2024, it will host the XBXIZ conference in Los Angeles, CA.
The XBIZ conference is an event for professionals in the adult entertainment industry, and it covers a wide range of topics relevant to the industry. XBIZ Retreat Miami

XBIZ Miami is an adult industry convention for pros and newcomers in the adult entertainment sector. Panels, workshops, exhibits, and networking events offer a fresh look at the most profitable opportunities in digital media monetization.
The annual summer edition of XBIZ Retreat will return to South Beach Miami in May 2024. It is one of three returning XBIZ Retreat industry events. They feature a packed, comprehensive itinerary anchored by one-on-one meetings between participating buyers and vendors.
According to XBIZ, more than 100 brands have signed on to participate and exhibitor suites are expected to sell out.
Museum of Sex Head of Retail Kit Richardson said, “XBIZ is the perfect show to meet one on one with vendors. The intimate setting by day and the fun togetherness of the evening activities is the perfect blend of business and pleasure.”

AVN Conference

Location: Las Vegas, United States
The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) is an annual trade show and conference that takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
After canceling the event for two years, the adult entertainment and novelty trade returned to Las Vegas on January 4 to 7, 2023. Instead of its earlier haunt at the Hard Rock, the adult convention took place at a new venue, Resorts World Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip.
The sex tech conference portion of the event typically features presentations, panel discussions, and workshops on a variety of topics relevant to the adult entertainment industry, including business, technology, and legal issues. This section is open to professionals in sexual wellness and adult entertainment.
The fan portion of the adult expo event includes exhibitions of adult entertainment products and services, as well as live entertainment and networking events.
SexTech TO Conference
Date: Summer 2024 – TBA
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
SexTech TO strives to build a community of sextech professionals working in the Greater Toronto Area, that fosters relationships.
Organized by software developer Alexandra Friedman, the networking group holds events that encourage collaboration, creativity, and innovation within the industry.
The first SexTech TO Mixer kicked off on June 27, 2023, with great success at the Rivoli in Toronto. It attracted dozens of professionals working in the sextech industry and related fields, including sexual health and wellness, software and product engineering, accessible design, and digital and broadcast media. Speakers were disability consultant Andrew Gurza and professional Dominatrix Lady Pim.
The inaugural SexTech TO Conference is set to take place in the summer of 2024, but no specific date is yet set. More details to come!
Past sextech conferences, likely to return
Love, Sex and Robots conference
Dates: October 1 to 3, 2023
Location: Virtual
Love and Sex with Robots (LSR) is an annual sex tech conference that explores robotics, ethics, emerging technology, and human sexuality. The event features presentations and panel discussions on a variety of topics related to the use of technology in human sexual behavior, including the design and development of sex robots, the ethical and social implications of using robots for sexual purposes, and the potential future of human-robot relationships.
Keynote speakers for the 8th Annual International Congress on Love and Sex with Robots are Amanda Gesselman, an expert in emerging technology, and Dr. Kenneth Hanson, a renowned authority on the ethical and societal implications of artificial companions. Attendees of last year’s conference will remember Dr. Hanson for his award-winning paper titled “A Methodological Reckoning For The Study of Sex Doll and Sex Robot Issues.”
The 2023 Love and Sex with Robots virtual sex tech conference is set to happen on October 1 to 3, 2023. (It was previously set for the end of August). This sex tech conference is typically attended by researchers, industry professionals, and others who are interested in the field of sex and technology.
The deadline to submit paper abstracts, rapid talks, and presentation topics closed on July 7.
Papers accepted for presentation at the conference will also be submitted for review for publication in the Journal of Future Robot Life.
Although now virtual, previously the sex and robot conference had been held in locations all around the world, including Canada and the UK.

Reimagine Sexuality Conference

Sextech conference organizer Rocio Pelayo announced the 2023 Reimagine Sexuality sex technology conference will once again be virtual.
2023 dates were originally set to coincide with the Love, Sex, and Robots (LSR) conference at the end of August. However, due to an overwhelming response to the call for speakers, both the Reimagine Sexuality and LSR sextech conference is now set for early October.
The first Reimagine Sexuality conference was held in September 2022 as a virtual-only event. For people who couldn’t watch the dozens of featured sextech experts speakers, speaker recordings were made available to purchase after the sextech conference ended.
The event features thought leaders from across the SexTech industry in all areas of business, including innovators, scientists, therapists, investors, marketing experts, lawyers, designers, influencers, and journalists.
This year, the Reimagine Sexuality Conference joined forces with LSR, also known as the International Congress on Love and Sex with Robots. The LSR academic conference provides a platform for researchers and scholars in sexual health, wellness, education, arts, and sextech to present their research and insights.

The Gender, Sex, and Sexualities Conference Committee

Modality SexTech Summit – SXSW Edition
According to Modality Founder and CEO Lex Gillon, the sex tech industry research group plans to hold summits three times per year.
The Modality SXSW SexTech Summit will take place on March 15, 2023, in Austin, TX. This sex tech conference is sponsored by Hablemos Sextech.
The March event in Austin aligns with the South by Southwest SXSW Conference and Festival.
Gillin wrote in a LinkedIn post that the goal of the first sextech summit is to identify and problem-solve issues that plague the industry. Topics include fundraising, advertising censorship, and understanding market opportunities.
XBIZ Retreat Amsterdam

Apparently, XBIZ Berlin is moving to Amsterdam after finding its previous host country no longer friendly to the adult entertainment sector.
XBIZ Retreat Amsterdam will take place from September 10 to 13, 2023.
Held annually, the European edition of XBIZ Retreat attracts European and international adult industry professionals, including top buyers from South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
This year’s show will include the 2023 XBIZ Europa Awards and will be the first XBIZ event to take place in the Netherlands. It will feature discussion panels, workshops, networking activities, and social events to create fresh business opportunities. The event will culminate with the prestigious XBIZ Europa Awards.
Models, creators, affiliates, and producers can register for free, while XBIZ.net members will qualify for discounted admission to the event.
The Sansyl Group, a Dutch company that owns PayBig, has agreed to sponsor the Bud & Booze Cruize, a floating party event taking place at XBIZ Amsterdam.
