Swedish-based company Lux Botics, which is developing a line of luxury service robots, says its robotic arm system will be “a game-changer in bed” for people with limited arm function.
This service robot for the bedroom is called Bed Botixs. Like the company’s other robots, including a service humanoid design for sexual application, the service bed bot is still in development.
Promotional videos for Bed Botixs don’t feature any sexual function. Instead, they show the robotic arm’s gripping attachment as well as a brief video of the arm opening and closing an above-the-bed cupboard. The content is simple and leaves a lot up to the imagination, especially since no human avatar or actual items are shown in the demos.
That being said, a similar or more advanced robotic arm for sex or masturbation will eventually hit the market and have the potential to do a lot of good for people. I’ve seen highly sophisticated (and surely very expensive) robotic arms in action on people with limb loss. When prices for such technology drops and it becomes more accessible, it will have many assistive applications.

Talking to the Founder of Lux Botics
According to the Lux Botics founder Bjorn Johnsson, the service bed robot has a wider appeal to people into erotic machines. Not only can it hide in place, but the company also claims it will be easier to use as there is no heavy lifting involved.
An ordinary sex machine needs to be taken out by the user from a hiding place back in a closet or from under the bed and has to be positioned and repositioned manually. Heavy work. [It’s] also stowed away after use. The Bed Botixs is hidden when not in use and comes out by demand.
Johnsson said the service bed robot can identify people and objects in relation to its own location. He added the robot would not thrust until told and only using low torque.
The Lux Botics founder also told SexforEveryBody.com that due to poor investor interest to date, his main focus is on developing humanoid service robots. However, he still has more ideas for assistive sexual robotics.
“One idea is a smaller toy that can attach to a stand and also attach to the stomach/waist of the user. The other is a robotic arm from a cabinet attached to the wall behind the bed which can perform many services but also can handle a dildo.

According to the website, it boasts flexible automation capabilities for tailored experiences and upgradeable artificial intelligence for continuous improvements.
A shorter model, Stephanie, which is 157cm tall, is also listed as available for pre-order.
Realistic and highly detailed silicone faces are created from molds.
