Last summer, I spent hours browsing in Other Nature, a queer, eco-oriented sex shop in Berlin. I was in a relatively new relationship and looking for something new we could try together.
As I scanned the subdued palette of plugs and dildos on the wall, something suddenly caught my eye—a round, bright coral toy resembling a starfish. And I couldn’t resist.
Now I’ve been invited by Sex For Every Body to review the genderless sex toy Starsi from Cute Little Fuckers, which I purchased myself.
About Cute Little Fuckers Starsi
The unique shape is what sets Starsi apart. It measures 11.6-cm wide and 3.3-cm tall, giving Starsi a larger, flatter surface area than more traditional, phallic-like sex toys.
Starsi is made from 100% silicone, completely waterproof, and formed to look like a six-pointed starfish. The back is sculpted into firm, smooth curves that can nestle between your fingers. Flip to the underside and every arm is lined with raised silicone for a wavy texture.
Compared to other Cute Little Fuckers products, Starsi is definitely less creature-like. There’s only a small subtle face on the underside. This makes Starsi a great option for people who want to venture into whimsical sex toys without going full tentacle.
Gender inclusivity to the front
Cute Little Fuckers is known for being a gender-inclusive brand, and this value extends to their products. Each “little monster” comes with pronouns (Starsi uses the neopronoun “Starsi”), as well as educational materials, like comics and an instructional video, on how to use the genderless sex toys.
While the website specifically mentions that transfemme vibrator seekers tend to enjoy Starsi for its ability to stimulate or hide dysphoric areas, I’m reviewing Cute Little Fuckers Starsi from a cisgender, vulva-haver perspective.
Ideal for breast play
When I say Starsi immediately stood out to me in the store, this is why.
Me and my b-cups love breast play. The main issue I run into, though, is that breast play sex toys tend to be designed for nipple stimulation. This can feel good, but my nipples are sensitive and become overstimulated pretty quickly.
Cute Little Fuckers Starsi is versatile. Every time I use Starsi, I rest the front squarely onto my nipple and let the arms (where the vibrations are most powerful) wrap completely around my breast. That way, I still get that deep pleasure, but the intensity is more distributed.
You could also use the tip of the arms to provide pinpoint vibrations on your nipples if that’s something you like.

A variety of rumbly vibrations
I’m a sucker for deeper, rolling pleasure and Starsi really delivers here.
The rumbly motor has five-speed options for continuous vibrations. Once you cycle through those, there are five different pulsating vibration patterns ranging from consistent pacing to fading sensations. Many vibrating sex toys only come with one pulse setting, so I personally loved exploring the variety.
You can also remove the vibrator, although I found it difficult to pull it in and out of the base.
Shape can sometimes feel a bit awkward
Cute Little Fuckers Starsi’s unconventional shape took a bit longer than expected for me to get used to.
Starsi is very wide and I found it difficult to grip unless I held onto one of the arms, which limited Starsi’s range of movement around my body.
I also fumbled around with Starsi a lot, especially during partnered sex, because there are so many different ways to use Starsi. I’d consider Starsi a toy that you take your time with rather than a quicker, grab-and-go option.
Overall: Highly recommend for all-encompassing pleasure
Starsi is a clear yes for me. I was sold the minute I realized that the shape was perfectly contoured to fit around my breasts.
It’s more expensive than the average vibrator, sold for $79 USD on the Cute Little Fuckers website. I’d still consider Starsi worth the investment—particularly if you know how you’d use that larger surface area.
Also, I love knowing that I’m supporting a business that’s trans-owned and focused on inclusive design.
