During the adult trade fair eroFame 2019 held in Germany, sex tech company Orion released several new products. This included an improved version of its popular male masturbator, the Suck-O-Mat, and a new range of erotic cosmetics, called Sedory.
But the product that drew the most attention to the company’s stand was its vibrating pad sex toy, the ORION VibePad. Orion sent me the saddle-like pad device last month in exchange for an honest review.
Vipe Pad’s unique shape may appeal to users who are most comfortable sitting upright or want a hands-free sex toy. Orion describes the device as “extremely easy to use and very intuitive: it only has to be placed on a chair and can then be enjoyed sitting and without having to use the hands.”
While I am an able-bodied person who does not use a wheelchair, it strikes me that the ORION VibePad could be a more accessible version of traditional saddle sex machines, such as the Sybian or Motorbunny.
The price is exceptionally lower at 99€ ($US110). Also, a Vipe Pad user can enjoy the device’s sensations with support from a chair, perhaps without ever having to leave one’s own wheelchair, if they feel it is safe and comfortable. (If you are a wheelchair user who has tried a similar pad sex toy or sex saddle, we’d love to hear from you at editor [at] sexforeverybody [dot] com)
After the sex toy is in place, all the user needs to do is sit over its silicone body, equipped with two “pleasure waves” intended to stimulate both the vulva and anus. Additionally, the ORION VibePad has a separate remote, which makes it a good option for people with reduced hand dexterity.
Lastly, although the ORION VibePad appears to mainly target women, the device can be enjoyed by people of all genders. For example, a penis owner may use it to stimulate the testicles and perineum.
ORION VibePad turns any chair into a powerful, yet accessible sex machine
The ORION VibePad comes in an elegant black box, that shows a nude model grinding herself against a chair seat equipped with the sex toy. The image leaves no doubts about how to use the product, so I think it’s a useful visual, not just sexy.
The toy has window packaging, which is particularly beneficial for customers who shop in a brick-and-mortar store: they have the opportunity to see the actual size of the product before making their purchase but without the need to put their hands all over it.
Like most of the sex toys from Orion I’ve already tried, the ORION VibePad comes in sealed packaging that provides extra peace of mind. After all, who would want to use a vibrator that has already been touched by someone else?
As soon as I got the product out of its box, the first thing that caught my attention was its size. I expected it to be as small as a vibrator to wear inside your underwear, like the Vibease or the OhMiBod Club Vibe 3.OH.
Instead, with its 29 centimeters of length and 20.7 centimeters of width, the ORION VibePad is definitely bigger. Needless to say, its size fits just perfectly on all the chairs in my kitchen and living room.
Once it’s placed on a chair, the ORION VibePad looks a little like some sex machine attachments created for external stimulation, like the Motorbunny’s ones. The advantage is that, with the ORION Vibe Pad, there’s no need to buy an expensive sex machine to enjoy the same kind of stimulation!
This way, even people who don’t have the space to keep a bulky device like the Motorbunny sex saddle in their bedroom will be able to enjoy a very similar experience. This could be the case for couples with children, youngsters who live with roommates and disabled people who share their home with a caregiver.

Not everybody wants to show off a sex machine in their living room, but the Vibe Pad from ORION is extremely easy to get off from the chair and stash out of sight.
As for the materials, I wasn’t disappointed: the saddle-like sex toy is made from velvety PU-coated silicone, like many other toys from ORION ’s brands. It has no smell of plastic at all, and a small amount of water-based lube is enough to make it comfortable when in contact with such a delicate area of the female body.
The remote control takes one LR23A battery, and it’s very easy to use. It has two buttons to control the two independent motors of the toy. This means that it’s possible to control the bigger pleasure wave, designed to stimulate the vulva, separately from the smaller wave, intended for anal stimulation.
Plus, those with no problems with hand dexterity will be able to use the on/off button on the back of the ORION VibePad as well. Each of the two silicone waves offers seven powerful, rumbly vibration modes, to encourage erotic exploration and stimulate effectively the body’s pleasure spots.
The toy is waterproof, so it can turn any bathtub into a powerful pleasure tool. When its battery dies, it can be charged with the USB cable provided in the packaging. No more need to rush to the store to replace dead batteries, which may be a plus for people with reduced mobility.
Overall, the ORION VibePad delivers on its promises, with the typical quality of all products from ORION.
